Imams jailed in Enrile police station released

The three Tuguegarao Imams who were arrested by the police from the Enrile police station in Cagayan due to possession of illegal drugs were released after the provincial prosecutor's office did not believe in the police story. The Imams (religious leaders) said they were framed up and the illegal drugs allegedly found in their possession were planted by the police. National Commission on Muslim Filipinos secretary Saidamen Pangarungan visited them during the release.  (ATM)
