CFSI is currently responding to the emergency in Lanao del Norte and Lanao del Sur due to siege in Marawi City that started in May 2017. CFSI seeks qualified and experienced applicants with diverse backgrounds for the following posts, which will be based at the CFSI Sub-Office in Iligan City.

PROJECT OFFICER
The Project Officer manages the implementation of the project, including ensuring that all activities of the project are carried out with the highest professional standard and in a timely manner. S/he leads, supervises, evaluates and builds the services delivery capacity of staffs. In collaboration with project team members, the Project Officer is expected to lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of project strategies, operational work plans, financial plans, and submission of periodic reports.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, engineering, public administration, education or related field is preferred, and preferably with master’s degree in same or similar professions required. Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible, related experience, ideally in project management and working with diverse group of people specifically but not limited to indigenous peoples and other people of concern to CFSI. S/he must have demonstrated high level of supervision and analytical skills. S/he proactively raises and pursues project perspective in various coordination meetings and dialogues with partner donors, concerned agencies and local government units.
COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS
Community Organizers employ participatory processes with affected populations to assess needs, carry out humanitarian assistance efforts, and contribute to local capacity in their respective areas-all in close cooperation with other stakeholders. Humanitarian assistance efforts are presently expected to include protection, including the distribution of non-food items such as plastic sheeting, tents, blankets, and other life-saving goods; child protection activities, including the establishment of child friendly spaces and temporary learning structures; psychosocial support, with particular attention to persons with disabilities and special needs; quick impact projects, including livelihood; disaster risk reduction training; and other services directed at helping affected communities rebuild their lives as quickly as possible.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, community development, nursing, public health, public administration, or a related field, preferably with a license in the appropriate field and ideally a master’s degree. Minimum of two years of related experience and/or work with internally displaced persons (IDPs). Demonstrated capacity to quickly engage with others and build effective working relationships. Relevant local language skills, including English, required. Computer literacy required; preferably proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
MONITORING AND EVALUATION ASSISTANT
The Monitoring and Evaluation Assistant ensures that project processes, inputs and deliverables are tracked and evaluated, and provides recommendations to guide the project team. S/he is responsible in reviewing the existing monitoring and evaluation tools and developing/improving the M&E tools if necessary. Maintains and updates project database and other vital information pertaining to the project.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in social work, engineer, public administration, education or related field. Academic and practical experience in information technology, statistics and communications is a plus. Minimum of two (2) years work experience in monitoring and evaluation, data management, impact assessment and data analysis.
FINANCE AND ADMINISTRATIVE ASSISTANT
The Finance and Administrative Assistant ensures that resources made available to the project are properly utilized and accounted for. S/he is responsible for supporting operations by ensuring funds and financial information are provided in a timely manner, review and validate financial documents submitted by the project team. Ensures that project staff are supported in human resources and other administrative needs.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related field. Certified Public accountant (CPA) is preferable. Minimum of two (2) years relevant experience is required. Proficiency in accounting software, preferably QuickBooks, is required.
LOGISTICS ASSISTANT
The Logistics Assistant is expected to provide operational support and assistance to the staff. Services include the procurement and management of transportation services, goods, furniture/fixtures, equipment, and supplies. S/he is also responsible for the installation and maintenance of communications equipment, computers, and office facilities.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, commerce, or a related field is required. Two years of related experience in office management is required. Verbal and written proficiency in English, as well as the relevant local languages is required, as is proficiency Microsoft Office and web-based applications.
DRIVER
The Driver renders driving services to project staff. Schedules the trips of the CFSI vehicle in coordination with the Finance and Administrative Assistant. Ensures the upkeep and cleanliness of the service vehicle. Ensures that security guidelines are observed and complied with during field trips; emergency and communication equipment and supplies in the vehicle are adequate and in top working condition at all times. Monitors daily security updates regarding areas to be visited and inform the team of security conditions and development. Ensures that the service vehicles are properly maintained and regularly checked for wear and tear for optimum efficiency and safety. Maintains a record of trips and submit a weekly report of such to the Finance and Administrative Assistant.
Qualifications: Licensed professional driver. At least high school graduate. Minimum of five years experience as Driver. Excellent interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-cultural setting.
