Authorities to denotate again bombs in Marawi Ground Zero

MARAWI CITY: Authorities will detonate again unexploded bombs recovered inside the Most Affected Area (MAA) or Ground Zero of the 2017 Marawi Siege.

In a notice to the public released on Monday 4:00 PM and posted on Facebook hours later, the provincial government of Lanao del Sur quoting an advisory from Task Force Bangon Marawi (TFBM), has bared the following schedules of the detonation:

August 3, 2019 (Saturday) - UXOs and IEDs bombs. found in Ground Zero.

August 10, 2019 (Saturday) - 260lbs GP Bomb and 110lbs GP Bomb. 

Exact time was not mentioned in the notice.

The provincial government said the notice was being served to forwarn the public and prevent undue alarm and anxiety. (RSP)
