ICADAC HOLDS MASSIVE ORIENTATIONS ON BADAC
ILIGAN CITY - The Iligan City Anti Drug Abuse Council (ICADAC) is in its 4th month of conducting Drug Awareness Symposiums in several Barangays to strengthen the Anti drug campaign and the role of BADAC Officials after it was reconstituted upon the assumption of Vice Mayor Ruderic C. Marzo last April 27, 2015 into office.
Mr. Orlando A. Carrasco Jr. ICADAC Action Officer, told this reporter that, Barangays Sta. Felomina, Saray, Upper Hinaplanon, Ubaldo D. Laya and Tambacan were already among those who underwent the orientations.
He said that his team intends to facilitate more orientations to all remaining Barangays of this city.
He is confident that more Barangays are interested with the orientations not only because it is mandated by the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) but also to fight against drug addiction as it is now rampant in our society.
ICADAC sustained its efforts to curtail drug supply and demand in the city. It is relentless in its campaign and implementing advocacy and prevention programs in rallying every constituent in the fight against substance addiction.
ICADAC is next to Makati City’s MADAC in terms of excellence in service, according to a recent evaluation of the Dangerous Drugs Board (DDB) FEDJr/TNRS
