MSU-Marawi executive awarded anew

( November 20,2014 ) - Dr.Raga Manunggiring-Bacarat, Assistant Vice President for Academic Affairs of the Mindanao State University System in Marawi City received the highest award as the 2014 Lily Rosqueta Rosales Counselor Leadership Awardee in a simple ceremony during the International Guidance Summit sponsors by the Holy Child Colleges in partnership with Sigma IOTA-IOTA Phi Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International on August 27-28, 2014 held at Almont Inland Resort Hotel, Butuan City.The awardee has a very impressive academic credentials, very extensive practice counseling being a member of the Philippine Guidance Personnel Association (PGPA). She has attended various pillars of guidance and counseling of the Philippines conducted by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED) and other institutions both public and private.She is a member of the Phi-Sigma Iota Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society.
She is presently one of the Professor teaching in graduate schools of the Mindanao State University System in main campus. As regular lecturer in the field of guidance and counseling, she has delivered various papers in some seminar-workshops, conference, dialogues, symposium, open forum, aside from as resource speaker conducted by institutions in different levels, regional, national and international. She wrote also an articles on guidance and counseling discipline published in local, national and international newspapers/magazines.
Dr. Bacarat was also awarded as one of the MSU faculty best in paper presentor presented during the Ist International Conference on Islamic Education with the theme "Innovations for Teaching in Islamic Education" last January 23-27,2013 hosted by the Yala Rajabhat University in Thailand.
She presented a paper entitled "Integration of Islamic Education in the Curricula of Teacher Education Institutions of the Autunomous Region in Muslim Mindanao. The participants to said Islamic Conference were from different Universities in Malaysia, Iran, Brunei, India, Bangladesh, Indonesia, Nigeria, Palestine, Philippines and Thailand.
