CEBU CITY: The Education USA, the U.S. government's official resource for students interested in pursuing higher education opportunities in the United States, will host its second annual education fair in Cebu on Thursday, February 28, 2019, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the Radisson Blu Hotel.
The fair provides an opportunity for students, parents, and school administrators to interact with admission officers from a wide variety of U.S. colleges and universities to learn about unique program and opportunities.
Participants can also learn about the U.S. college application processes, scholarship and financial aid options, and steps to apply for a student visa. This event is free and open to the public.
Education USA provides free advising services to prospective international students in more than 170 countries and offers students resources and tools to help navigate the five steps to U.S. study: researching schools financing, completing the application, obtaining a student visa, and preparing for departure.
There are more than 4,500 accredited higher education institutions in the United States and an Education USA adviser can help students narrow their options, define their priorities, and plan their college carers. Education USA does not offer scholarships but can assist students in identifying scholarship and financial assistance opportunities.
