Urgent: 5.3-magnitude quake hits 249km ESE of Kamaishi, Japan -- USGS
HONG KONG, (June 10, 2016) -- An earthquake measuring 5.3 on the Richter scale jolted 249km ESE of Kamaishi, Japan at 12:07:02 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 25.11 km, was initially determined to be at 38.3958 degrees north latitude and 144.528 degrees east longitude. (TNRS/PNA/Xinhua)
