Dead Body believed to be from city found in nearby town
MANTICAO, MISAMIS ORIENTAL – A dead body was found last May 26 in the morning near a cemetery along the national highway here.
PNP Station Office Chief Police Sr. Inspector Enrique Diocos Belacal-ol disclosed that the dead body was found and reported by a concerned citizen.
Belacal-ol and his men upon proceeding to the scene, found the dead body with markings on the whole body tied with a nylon rope inside a white sack
The Police team then cordoned off the area to preserve the evidence for security.
They immediately contacted the personnel of SOCO -10 Patag, CDO and few hours later, a Team led by PSINSP West Edquilla, MD processed the crime scene.
The team found that the dead body was a male, of dark complexion, 5’5” feet tall and between 35 to 45 years old with tattoos at different parts of the body who had gunshot wounds at the back waist portion of the body.
The victim was brought afterward to a funeral parlor in this town and was still unidentified at press time.
Investigator PO3 Allain B. Clamonte was still conducting further investigations to identify and locate the perpetrator and their motives.
