UNA Lanao del Sur holds assembly

ISLAMIC CITY OF MARAWI, October 16 — City Mayor Sultan Fahad "Pre" U. Salic led the first general assembly of the United Nationalist Alliance - Lanao del Sur (UNA-LDS) held at Marawi City Hall Complex Thursday immediately after filing his certificate of candidacy for Lanao del Sur provincial Governor in the morning.
The incumbent city mayor brought with him his line-up who are also vying for other provincial elective posts from vice governor down through provincial board members in the first and second districts of the province.
Together, they filed their certificates of candidacy (COC).
During the assembly, Salic assured the public that he can handle the responsibilities of being a leader of the whole Lanao del Sur as Provincial Governor.
He said that he will see to it the people of Lanao del Sur get what is rightfully theirs.
Salic said he leaves the fate to God.
“The one who shall lead Lanao del Sur as Provincial Governor is already set by ALLAH (S.A.W.)," Salic said.
He added that “the only thing we have to do is work hard together for it is our people who will decide who they want to lead our province.”
He stated that the key for his governance in Lanao del Sur are the people who believe in him.
Salic asked the city constituents for support to the Former Marawi City Mayor Omar Solitario Ali who will run for re-election as city mayor.
On his part, Mohammad Ali A. Abinal, a graduated Mayor of Marantao Municipality, and candidate for provincial governor, said that one of the problems he will solve if he will be elected is the issue of RIDO.
On the other hand, Fayzah RPM Dumarpa, also a graduated Congresswoman of the province first congressional district will run for re-election as Lanao del Sur Representative,
She asked for support for her candidacy and for the UNA- LDS Party.
She said " kagiya miyaka ayon kano na dikano dun p'kawan ka kiyalayaman iyo a si Fayza Dumarpa " she also promised to strengthen the Islam Religion specially to women.
