Saudi envoy visits Marawi

MARAWI CITY, September 8 — His Excellency ABDULLAH BIN NASSER AL BUSSAIRY, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to the Philippines visited Marawi City on September 8.

He was welcomed at the Islamic Conference Hall of the City Hall Complex by city officials, religious leaders and other stakeholders led by Omar Solitario Ali, former city mayor.

Abdullah said he was glad of the warm welcome accorded him.

He said he appreciated those who were there to entertain his party.

The ambassador talked about their good Governance in Saudi Arabia as prime Islamic country.

Replying to question of DILG City Director Kareema A. Ibrahim if he can give reward to a good performing barangay chairman, the ambassador replied, “Yes, the reward is to go on hajj with free accommodation from the King,”

Ambassador said that he will welcome and entertain anyone who will visit him in Manila. TNRS
