Dateline Iligan. DIYANDI MERRIMENT BROUGHT TO CITY JAIL
ILIGAN CITY – The local government of Iligan held an entertainment activity inside the City Jail to share to the inmates the merriment happening elsewhere throughout the City during the month-long Diyandi Festival.
Dubbed as “Diyandi Extravaganza,” the Executive Management Board brought local entertainers composed of singers, dancers, stand-up comedians and San Miguel Eskrima Performers.
According the a report from the City Information Office, one of the entertainers who performed before the 500 inmates was Pilipinas Got Talent Season 1, First Runner Up Sherwin Baguion.
The finalists of the Search for Miss Iligan and Miss Gay 2015 also had a presentation before the inmates, the report said.
Lunch was served through the support of Acting Rudy Marzo and Acting Vice-Mayor Providencio Abragan, Jr.
Councilor Marlene L. Young had ice cream served to everyone too, according to the report.
