Dateline Iligan. MARZO VISITS DEPARTMENTS OF LGU
Acting Mayor Ruderic C. Marzo began visiting the different departments of the City government last April 7.
According a City Information Office report, Marzo is making these visits to get a better feel of the peculiarities of each department’s operation, talk to employees and listen to problems and concerns of the offices.
It was also said that Marzo had already visited the City Social Welfare and Development Office, Economic Enterprise Development and Management Office, Civil Registrar’s Office, City Health Office, City Agriculture Office and Cooperatives Development and Livelihood Office.
The report said that Marzo wants to gather more information that will be useful in formulating strategies for budget prioritization.
Under to Local Government Code, the Chief Executive of every local government unit is required to submit on or before October 16 of every year for legislation the proposed Annual Appropriations Ordinance for the following Fiscal Year.
