CSC DEEMS MACATANONG TERM UNTIL 2016

Dr. Mona A. Macatanong, al hadja, said the alleged order of the Department of Education of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (DepEd-ARMM) is baseless as her tenure of office being the schools division superintendent of Marawi City will be until year 2016 when she retires at age 65.

Appearing at a local television network recently, Macatanong cited the decision of the Civisl Service Commission (CSC) which granted with finality the request in the Local Civil Registrar office of Marawi for change of date of her birth which was said to be entered wrongfully.

As order by the commission based on court orders and approvals, Macatanong’s compulsory retirement will be in year 2016.

Macatanong appeared on television to express her side and said there were some sectors who were trying to destroy her for selfish interest and greed.

She then appeal to those spreading destructing rumors to stop from creating misunderstanding.

During her TV appearance, Macatanong was accompanied by her division and district supervisors and other division officials who were all in support of her.

They said they believed in their superintendent and expressed their full support.
