Dr. Abdul installed head of JMIF new center

The Executive Committee (ExCom) of Lanao’s leading Islamic school Jamiatu Marawi AL-Islamia Foundation (JMIF) has appointed Dr. Cabib D. Abdul as vice president for external units and designated him to head the foundation’s newly created Sultan Sampaco Center for Academic Excellence (SSCAE).
Abdul’s appointment was contained in the ExCom’s resolution dated May 1, 2014.
The ExCom is the highest implementing arm of the foundation’s board of trustees.
It is headed by Sultan Nasser D. Sampaco, JMIF president, with Aleem Zainoden Bato, JMIF vice president for Arabic and Islamic studies, and Sultan Linog Indol, JMIF management consultant as members.
Dr. Abdul was formerly vice president of Administration and Finance before becoming vice president for external units and SSCAE administrator. Earlier, he was vice president for academic affairs.
