Lanao del Sur-I schools division launches “Kazalimbago for Quality Basic Education”

MARAWI CITY: The schools division-I of Lanao del Sur (LDS-I) conducted the 1st Division K to 12 Conference (on Junior High School and Senior High School) with the theme; ”KAZALIMBAGO FOR QUALITY BASIC EDUCATION” on April 15, 2019 at Norhidaya Function Hall, this City . 

This activity is another initiative of LDS-I School Division Superintendent Dr. Sahanee Macarampat-Sumagayan, facilitated by and under the jurisdiction of Dr. Jamira Sarip, Education Program Supervisor (EPS) and Assistant Schools Division Superintendent for Senior High School-designate.

The conference served as a process for school's principals and heads to present their (1) Best Practices; (2.)School initiatives; and (3) Program projects to be disseminated to other school heads for adoption. 

There were 5 presenters and 5 reactors who are heads of different schools in the division. 

the event was participated by school heads of junior high schools and senior high schools, school focal person teachers, and Division supervisors.

It was graced by Kamil Alongan, Regional Senior High School focal, from the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Eduction of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (MBHTE-BARMM).

The purpose of this conference is to disseminate the best practices to other principals so they can adopt them

Dr. Sarip said, “Ang kagandahan nito halimbawa yong isang principal maganda ang practices nila na nag improve yong performance ng mga bata, e present nila dito, then yong mga principal in attendance pwede nila i adopt ang best practices atsaka yong programs na initiative by the school principals."
