Maranao Moro women leaders push for 'Yes' vote in next year BOL plebiscite

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur: The leading organizer and focal of the first general meeting of women's political leaders of the United Bangsamoro Justice Party (UBJP) in Lanao del Sur said Maranao Moro women leaders push for the 'Yes' vote in early next year BOL plebiscite.

Dr. Rubina Mimbantas Macabunar, UBJP Deputy for Women for Lanao del Sur, and lead convenor of the activity said the meeting was fruitful and very successful. 

She said all participants expressed full support to the 'Yes" vote and will campaign for it among friends, relatives and neighbors and to everybody.

Over 100 participants gathered at the Marawi Resort Hotel here Friday to discuss the forthcoming plebiscite on the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) to be held on January 21 2019.

Dr. Macabunar thanked her co-officials in the province, especially Aleem Ali Solaiman, MILF second vice chairman and UBJP Vice president for Northern Mindanao, the highest MILF and UBJP official who graced the occasion, and all those who have attended the meeting.

The meeting was also attended by renowned UBJP personalities and Maranao women's leaders in the province. - RSP
