Bangladesh Ambassador graces the turnover ceremony of 74 sanitary toilets to Marawi village folks
MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur: The Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Philippines said that while the government will do what is necessary versus terrorism, resistance against ultra extremism should come from the society.
Speaking during the turnover ceremony of 74 sanitary toilets donated by the ASA Philippines Foundation, Inc. to Barangay Cabasaran in this city Saturday, September 29, Ambassador Asad Alam Siam said he is very happy to see not many men in the program, adding whenever there are lot of women peace will survive. He added that without peace, there would be no development and opportunity.
He also said: Cleanliness is part of our faith, (and) a toilet not only gives you free from toxicant deseases, it gives the family confidence; it gives the family dignity. - RSP
