Mayor Nashiba represents Taraka LGU in OPAPP's social healing, peacebuilding program

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur: The Office of the Presidential Adviser on the Peace Process (OPPAP) conducted its Project Orientation on the Social Healing and Peacebuilding Program for Lanao del Sur and Lanao del Norte on Sept. 24-25, 2018 @ Seda Hotel, Cagayan de Oro City.

Taraka being one of the 18 municipalities invited by the OPPAP for this meaningful event was represented by its Honorable LCE, Mayor Nashiba Gandamra-Sumagayan.

In this two-day event, the participants were given a chance to share the primary challenges they believe impede social development in their respective localities and from that, feasible plans of action that could counteract those challenges were addressed in an interactive discussion.

Further expanding on the topic of Social Healing and Peacebuilding in LDS and LDN, a presentation was given by Asec. Rolando B. Asuncion, OPPAP. - Municipality of Taraka/RSP
