Fighting For Power in Jahilia State
You will find so many media practitioners in our midst -- writers, broadcasters, social media enthusiasts, two-way radio operators etc. -- but seldom will you find a journalist.
They are “Preachers" and "Propagandists.” They preach their opinion and propagate it through the social media and the two-way radio freqs.
Oh, in this online technology, many of us love to write than read, a passion to impress than express. But a Muslim who believes in Islam is required foremost to read first before he writes.
"Iqra" was the first revealed verse to the Muslims through the Prophet of Islam. Which means, they should know first what they propagate.

Many of our youth today is no longer the “Hope of the Fatherland.” They are the implementers of “False Hope.”
For little sweets and brief accommodation in cool hotels, they willingly accepted to be brainwashed by clutches of their enemy and implement the latter's desire unknowingly of subjugating their people.
oooooo
Our forebears refused to eat foods from foreigners, much more their way of life, and they successfully defended our homeland, culture and identity to hand it down to us with dignity and pride.
Today, we not only eat their food; we swallow with love and pride their way of life and help them conquer our land and trample our culture and identity. In a nutshell, we help them enslave us.

FIGHTING FOR POWER IN A JAHILIYA STATE
An old friend who said he’s a leader of Marawi siege evacuees told me he believed “Marawi is lost,” and said he didn’t know anymore what to do but one thing: Running for mayor of Marawi.
Though I knew he wouldn't listen, I said: If you are, indeed, a Muslim and a Maranao as you claimed to be, then, do what the Prophet asked of you to do and follow the footsteps of our forebears.
In the early part of his propagation of Islamic system of government and way of life, Prophet Mohammad (saw) was offered by the ruling Quraish to be their king, make him the wealthiest in their land and the beautiful women in the Hijaz, if he would stop his propagation.
The Prophet (saw) refused the powers, wealth and women the Quraish offered him. He wouldn’t live in a Jahiliya state no matter how powerful and wealthy he would become, thus he continued his jihad to destroy the idolatry system of the Quraish.
Such was a battle between Good (Islam) and Evil (Jahiliya) and in the end he and his companions triumphed.
And that is exactly the path that our forebears treaded in fighting the foreign conquerors and subjugators who came to our land to enslave us. And they triumphed over the foreign conquerors in their homeland.
Nowadays, we know we live in a Jahiliya state. If the Prophet were here with us today, he would enjoin us to do what he did centuries ago.
As we all know, he would never be bribed nor corrupted even if given the sun and the moon in lieu of the Good for Evil. He may tolerate but wouldn’t join the present jahiliya system.
But what are the so-called Muslims of today doing? The are fighting and killing each other for powers in a jahiliya system. Isn’t this contrary to the Guidance brought forth to us by Prophet Mohammad (saw) and to the examples of our forebears? - RSP
