ILIGAN CITY: The city government of Iligan has asked evacuees of the Marawi siege to leave government properties they are now occupying as temporary evacuation centers not later than April 1, 2018.

The city government said the buildings are urgently needed for school year-end activities such as graduation exercises, fiestas and other city activities done annually.

Meanwhile, Marawi Majul Gandamra requested the city government of Iligan for a fifteen-day extension of the deadline it has set for the evacuees to leave. It is learned that this concern will be tackled during the March 23 press briefing to be held at the TFBM headquarters in Iligan. - RSP
