Marawi central terminal reopened

MARAWI CITY, February 10, 2018 -- The local government of Marawi has re-opened the GMA terminal in the city poblacion today. The terminal is not actually located in its original location, a compound near the newly opened one.

Local officials called it Marawi City GMA Centralized Terminal. But a netizen said there should be enough parking space for commuters.

The old GMA terminal is now housing heavy equipment.

Before its opening, passengers bound north such as Iligan and Cagayan de Oro had to take a ride from Matampay while those going to Cotabato and towards the western part of the province took a ride at the highway somewhere below MSU Main campus. 

The opening of the terminal was made possible through the teamwork of Marawi PNP and City Traffic Management Group with the assistance of AFP. (RSP)
