Kalimodan, ENGAGE turn over livelihood equipment to four Marawi barangays

The Kalimodan Foundation Incorporated, in partnership with the USAID-ENGAGE, turned over on Sunday, February 25, to four barangays in the city livelihood equipment such as T-Shirt printing equipment and sewing machines, amounting to PhP200,000 to each barangay.
Barangays which received the equipment during the turn-over ceremony held at the KFI headquarters are Biaba Damag, Matampay, Basak Malutlut and Cadayonan II.
It was graced by councilor Aleem Nasif Marangit who represented city mayor Majul Gandamra and former MSU-IPDM director Matuan.
Matuan said, “Kalimodan Foundation, Inc. was started in 1988 when he was director of Dansalan College. It is a pioneer in organizing the NGOs. Its purpose is how to help the public, the Maranaw.”
He said in jest that theoretically, KFI executive director Ding Cali is under him as chairman of its board of trustees. All policies and projects are to be decided by the board, he said.
Matuan said this ENGAGE project was materialized in July 2017 when they (ENGAGE) approached Ding Cali and asked him to help them find who can help them in this project.
This project is aimed at the youth in the community to have livelihood so they will not get near to extremism.

The equipment received by each barangay are as follows:
A. Biaba–Damag (received by its barangay secretary, Ms. Nadjera A. Tago) - 1 unit develop Ineo 165 e photocopier; 2 pcs. TN 116 Photocopier Toner; 1 unit Derll Vostro 3250 small form factor Desktop computer; 1 unit Brother MFC- T 800 V4 color printer, 1 unit laminating machine seal IC-12; 1 unit Book Binding Machine beyonder C24D; and 5 unit singer sew master w/o motor sewing machine.
B. Matampay (under chairman Jaohar L. H. Ali received by his wife Ms. Norhanifah G. Corot) - 1 unit Develop Ineo 165e, 2 pcs. TN 116 Photocopiers toner; 2 units Dell Vostro 3250 small form factor desktop computer; 2 units brother MFC T800V4; 2 units T-shirt Printing machine heat process; 2 units Epson refill colored printer; 2 sets CYMK pigment ink, 10 sheets Dark Transfer paper,10 sheets Light transfer paper.
C. BASAK MALUTLUT (Under Chairman Jamellah I. Saro received by Norhaya Langco Grande) - 2 units Develop Ineo 165e, 2 pcs. TN 116 photocopier Toner , 2 Units Dell Vostro -3250 small form factor –Desktop Computer, 2 units Brother MFC –T800V4 ,1 Unit Laminating Machine seal IC-12 ,1 Unit Book Binding Machine Beyonder C24D.
D. Barangay CADAYONA II Under chairman Abdulmalic B. Lao received by Kagawad Jamela L. Domato - 2 units develop Ineo 165e ,2 pcs. TN 116 photocopier toner ,2 units Dell Vostro 3550 small form factor-Desktop computer ,2 units Brother MFC –T 800V4, 1 unit Laminating Machine seal IC-12 ,2 units book Binding machine beyonder C24D.
