ARMM begins 2018 with cabinet reshuffle

ILIGAN CITY, Philippines, January 31, 2018 -- A number of departments in the regional government of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao now have new heads of office, following a cabinet reshuffle that was made official within the past week.

The regional Department of Social Welfare and Development will now be headed by Atty. Laisa Masuhud-Alamia, as she concurrently holds her post as ARMM Executive Secretary.

Meanwhile, Atty. Rasol Mitmug, Jr. assumes his new role as the secretary of the regional Department of Education, as Khal Mambuay-Campong replaces him as Chief-of-Staff of the Office of the Regional Governor.

John Louie Balagot also takes on new position as the Cabinet Secretary, while Amir Mawallil returns to his old post as the head of the ARMM Bureau of Public Information after his stint in the Office on Bangsamoro Youth Affairs.
