enemy of the Community.”
According to a resident in Barangay Marawi Poblacion, more than a thousand returnees to his barangay were not able to get the Pabaon of the government from the Department of Services and Welfare Development (DSWD).
A former local government unit official said that they were promised to be given after two weeks but until now (as of press time) they did not receive any.

Every returning family is entitled to a P5,000.00 and relief goods containing rice, medicinal kits and groceries. Earlier, however, many were advanced P1,000 out of the P5,000. In that case,
Surprisingly, it is the DSWD 12 and 10 regional offices that are handling the distribution, and not the DSWD-ARMM which covers the sieged city of Marawi.
Marawi City is a component city of the Autonomous Region that has its own DSWD. (RSP)
