Presidential Adviser on Overseas Filipino workers and Muslim Concerns Abdullah D. Mama-o is now the representative of the Office of the President in Task Force Bangon Marawi, an inter-agency task force created by Administrative Order No. 3 (s. 2017) for the recovery, reconstruction and rehabilitation of Marawi City and affected localities by the Marawi siege.
A Malacanang memorandum dated July 10, 2017, addressed to Department of National Defense Secretary Delfin N. Lorenzana, Martial Law in Mindanao administrator, and signed by Executive Secretary Salvador C. Medialdea, designated Secretary Mama-o as representative of the President in Task Force Bangon Marawi effective immediately.
The memorandum further said that observers from the Office of the Executive Secretary and the Office of the Special Assistnt to the President may join meetings of the Task Force as may be deemed necessary.
