ARMM Public schools to receive MOOE in 2017

Public schools within Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM) will receive their respective Maintenance and Other Operating Expenses, or MOOE next year according to the regional education secretary.
“I am happy to inform our teachers that effective next year, over 2,000 schools in ARMM will be given their respective MOOE,” Education Secretary John Magno told the New Ranao Star in an exclusive interview.
He said: “What is happening now is only the central and national schools are receiving MOOE… but for 2017 lahat ng schools natin makakatanggap na ng MOOE from elementary, high school, and senior high school.”
He also said public school teachers will receive P1,500.00 for chalk allowance next year.
