ORIENTATION SEMINAR ON POPULATION PROGRAM
MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur — (CHO) The City Health Office and (MCPO) Marawi City Population Office joined the celebration of breast feeding and family planning month with the theme, Keys to Sustainable Development.
The program which was held on August, 31, 2016 at the Bagumbayan Hall of the City Hall here started exactly 9:am with the invocation led by Alexander T. Alag followed the national anthem led by Famidah A. Eppie.
After that, City Mayor Atty. Majul U. Gandamra gave a short message to welcome and acknowledge those who attended in the affair.
H. Aleah, S. Marabur SH.L gave an overview of the family planning month celebration.
Dr. Ali G. Dalidig CHO II , HJA. Faisaliyyah Lawambai L. Usman, Aleema Farida Amanodin, and Dr. Pendililang Inshirah M. Alonto were the lecturers.
They discussed about the importance, advantages and disadvantages of breast feeding and family planning and also the keys to sustainable development.
An open forum ensued after the discussion.
The activity ended at 12 noon time with Mr. Yusoph M. Tawagon formally closing the program. CHO-MC
