Bangsamoro civil society, sectoral leaders to hold consultation
MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur — The Consortium of Bangsamoro Civil Society (CBCS) in partnership with multisectoral groups will conduct a Provincial Bangsamoro CSOs and Sectoral Leaders’ Consultation in Iligan City on Wednesday, October 12.
In a text message, Kalimudan’s chair Amenodin Cali told the New Ranao Star that the primary aim of the consultation is to strengthen unity and solidarity among the Bangsamoro leaders including the CSOs by creating a platform of cooperation that can serve as a venue for consensus building towards a common political peace agenda.
A partner of CBCS, Kalimudan Foundation, Inc. is an active CSO in the region involved in the development and promotion of the people’s welfare especially in the Bangsamoro area.
The activity is an inclusive Bangsamoro gathering to be participated in by Moro CSO leaders, religious, Sultanate or Traditional leaders, MILF and MNLF communities from the provinces of Lanao del Sur, Lanao del Norte and cities of Marawi, Iligan and Cagayan de Oro. MNY/TNRS
