Lawyer in Iligan gunned down

A lawyer in Iligan City who was identified as Atty. Allen Paguinawan was shot dead by a motorcycle-riding assailant in Iligan City.
Police initial investigation revealed that around 6:30 pm of August 23 the victim was seen proceeding to his vehicle that was parked in front of Caprice Pension house at Badelles St.
While the victim opened the back of trunk of his vehicle he was shot by unidentified men on board a black Mitsubishi Montero sports who after the incident fled to unknown direction.
Atty. Evasan who suffered gunshot wounds in his left check and forehead was rushed to a hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival.
Scene of the Crime Operation (SOCO) led by PSI Dieryl D. Reuyan recovered from the crime scene one (1) fired cartridge of caliber 45.
The motive of the crime is still under investigation. tnrs
