As of press time, Mujiv Hataman, incumbent governor of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM), has a landslide lead over rival Sakur Tan, incumbent vice governor of the province of Sulu, according to an online survey conducted by the Ranao Star Online.
Twenty six viewers responding to the question, "Who will be ARMM next Governor in July 2016," cast their votes. 19 voted for Hataman, 7 for Tan.
