Maguing municipality marks founding day

The Municipality of Maguing in the Province of Lanao del Sur celebrated its founding day anniversary on August 20 by hosting the regular People’s Day program in Lanao del Sur of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (ARMM).
The monthly People’s Day is the day when government agencies bring down in one setting to the people their free basic services such as health services, short crash courses, skills training and seminars, job fair, among others.
Last People’s Day was held in the Municipality of Piagapo.
People’s Day is among the programs introduced in ARMM by the incumbent Regional Governor Mujiv Hataman
Municipal Mayor Datu Mamaulan A. Molok and First Lady Bae Hadja Sittie Isnihaya D. Molok warmly welcomed the guests and participants coming from all over the province.
Molok thanked one and all for their support and in coming to this event.
He said his people truly benefitted from the free services offered by various government agencies and even civil society groups.
The municipality of Maguing is a second class municipality.
According to the 2010 census, it has a population of 21,444 people.
