Dateline Iligan. ILIGAN TO BUY GPS CLOCKS
In its special meeting last September 9, the Iligan City Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council (ICDRRMC) approved the procurement of 5 Global Positioning System Clocks.
This is reportedly in compliance with the requirement imposed by the Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) that all government units must observe Philippine Standard Time (PST) through the Department of Science and Technology (DOST).
It was learned that DILG City Director Emilio T. Rana recommended the procurement of the said GPS Clocks for installation at the Post Office, Rizal Park, Police Station 1 at Nonucan, Maria Cristina and Police Station 3 in Tag-ibo, Dalipuga, this City.
Procurement of the GPS Clocks will charge against DRRM funds, the report stated.
