OMS REGULATES MARKET VENDORS
To provide more convenience to the buying public, the Office of the Market Superintendent (OMS) imposed regulating the limits wherein vendors are allowed to display their goods and commodities for sale.
Last October 20, the OMS through its demolition team had put a demarcation line in the sidewalk lane that limits the area where vendors may display their stuffs.
Market Superintendent Samer M.U. Salic ordered Panga Pangarungan, demolition tram leader, to put the line and any vendor displaying their goods beyond the line shall be confiscated.
“This program of the government,” OMS official Anchiekoy said, “is aimed to make the market safe and convenient.”
