PNP, Army join local officials to distribute food reliefs in Pantao Ragat

MARAWI CITY: The Philippine National Police (PNP) and the Philippine Army (PA) have joined officials of the provincial government of Lanao del Norte in bringing basic goods to the residents of the province’ municipality of Pantao Ragat.

Ms. Sittie Aminah Quibranza-Dimaporo, Lanao del Norte Provincial Administrator and the Deputy Responsible Officer of the Incident Management Team (IMT), led the employees of the provincial government in bringing relief goods to Pantao Ragat.

The local officials were joined by the Army’s 2nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade under B/General Facundo Palafox IV with Major Teodoro Nicor, Battalion Executive Officer of 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion; Captain Rolan Camitan, Company Commander 41st Mechanized Infantry Company; Police Major Salman M. Saad, Police Community Affairs and Development Branch of PNP Lanao del Norte in simultaneously delivering the relief goods to the town’s barangays.

They conducted a house-to-house delivery by handing the goods to a family member or placing the goods on the chairs positioned outside their houses. And for those barangays that are located in the farthermost areas, the Barangay Chairmen assembled at the Barangay Halls along the road for easy access and received the goods on behalf of their constituents.

Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo said, together with the members of the Sangguniang Panlalawigan chaired by Vice Governor Maria Cristina N. Atay, and with the support of 1st District Congressman Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo, and 2nd District Congressman Abdullah ‘Bobby’ Dimakuta Dimaporo, they are continuously finding ways to provide basic supplies in this trying time to the residents in coordination with the Barangay and Municipal Officials.
