All we need from you is a 'little respect' - LASURECO
By ROCAYA SUMNDAD OTICAL YAHYA
Once again, the top management of Lanao del Sur Electric Cooperative (LASURECO) has appealed to the public for a little respect and understanding especially those who are bad-mouthing against its personnel every time a power interruption occurs.
LASURECO General Manager Dr. Nordjiana Lucman Dipatuan-Ducol said in a statement that, "...your servants in LASURECO (are) working day and night, rain or shine, in time of disease or war, just to bring you light always." They are rushing the rehabilitation of changing small wires that also cause power interruptions in some parts of the province, she said.
Actually, the interruptions are not avoidable and are not solely the fault of LASURECO. There are other contributory factors to the interruptions. One is the restrictions made by the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) on the limit it is giving LASURECO and once it exceeds the limit, light is tripped off. Second is the short circuits and tripping due to trees affecting the lines. Many of such trees were planted purposely under the wire lines.
Perhaps, the public should understand and give respect, even little, to LASURECO. (RSP)
