Leni's case: Picking wrong Fights

"So they filed a case against VP Leni Robredo."
The case is based on the testimony of a man who was previously an accuser of mostly Customs officials and now witness to a purported plot against the present administration allegedly involving the VP and other personalities.
When Bikoy’s expose came out, the CIDG and the DOJ were stone cold and mum. But when he turned 180 degrees, they were too quick to file a complaint.
Those in power seem to pick wrong fights..Or so they choose what interests them..
- Billions of drug importation passed through the BOC, yet no one was implicated.
Certain officials were even promoted as though they were rewarded for their gross negligence, assuming they have no involvement, directly or indirectly, in the drug importation.
But hey, Billions and billions worth of drugs and no knowledge at all? No command responsibility? So insulting.
Instead of putting a lid on entry points and going against those involved in the importation, gov’t chose to summarily shoot thousands of users and pushers.
It was bloody, ruthless, merciless, and too many collateral damage (I’m just using the PNP’s fave expression).
We are all against drugs but are we doing the right thing?
- And then there is this issue of territorial dispute with China.
Despite the country’s strong claim on West Philippine Sea strengthened by a favorable International court ruling, Malacanang literally gave it away to China by making confused statements on its position that are at best, meek, and, at worst, a complete capitulation to the Chinese.
These are just two of the myriad of issues.
This country is irreversibly heading towards political convulsion and this could go right smack into Malacanang’s face.
You harvest what you sow.
You disrespect human rights, harass political rivals, kill innocent people, polarize society...you will have a leadership standing on the tip of the needle.
The Almighty will do the rest.
By all signs, the country is under a despotic rule. There is no doubt about this.
Whatever side we choose, we accept its consequences. But someday sooner or later, we will either regret it, or rejoice upon it.
