COTABATO CITY: The Regional Ports Management Authority of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (RPMA-BARMM) is targeting a P35 million income for the year 2019.
RPMA-BARMM General manager Garib Abas said the office is projecting a total income of a P35 million for the year 2019 as he addressed participants to the agency two-day Midterm Management Conference recently.
The conference is aimed to gather all ports managers, including the cargo handling operators and corporate accountants, from the island provinces of BARMM (Basilan, Sulu and Tawi-Tawi) to come up with projected income for midterm operations of their different ports management offices.
Abas said, “For the first quarters, we have generated a total of P10 million worth of income which is a good start for the new management."
He also stressed that a workshop on problem analysis will also be conducted to give possible solutions for the identified issues and concerns of ports operation. (ATM/RSP)
