BARMM implements no collection of contribution on graduation rites

ILIGAN CITY: Minister Mohagher M. Iqbal of the Ministry of Basic, Higher and Technical Education of the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) through Regional Memorandum Office Order No. 003 dated March 6, 2019, does not allow collection or contribution for graduation rites of learners in the region.

The Memorandum addressed to all Schools Division Superintendents of BARMM education ministry is reiterating the prohibition of collecting contributions and other fees for graduation rites pursuant to DO 28, s 2010 which prohibits public school heads, teachers and other school personnel to collect any kind of contribution for graduation rites.
