JOLO, Sulu: The Sulu provincial government led by Governor Abdusakur A. Tan II and the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources represented by Hja. Feraida A. Sabatal led in the turnover of 20 motorized fiberglass bancas (small boats) with complete accessories to beneficiaries in a simple program on Monday morning at the Sulu Provincial Multi-Purpose Gymnasium here.

The project spearheaded by BFAR with the support of the Sulu Provincial Government benefited the following: Recon Sulu, BFP PATIKUL, Radi Halpi (MNLF), K. Caluang, Commander Silbi Tiblani (F2)-Bagsak, Parang, Sulu, Commander Jackar J. Sarappudin (F2)-Bawisan, Parang Sulu, Commander Hamid E. Jahurie (F2)-Tumangas, Parang Sulu, Panaud Fisherfolk Association, Pisak Pisak Fisherman Association (Pata), Brgy. Laud Kulasi, Maimbung, Brgy. Bualo Lahi, Maimbung, Brgy. Lapa, Maimbung, Brgy. Laum, Maimbung, Sitio Bualo Kanjal- Brgy. Laum, Maimbung, Brgy. Patio, Maimbung, Brgy. Ipil, Maimbung, Brgy. Kulasi, Maimbung, Brgy. Poblacion, Maimbung, Brgy.
