Senior Board Member Khoms Taha visits Marawi Bakwits in Matunggao
MATUNGGAO, Lanao del Norte: Lanao del sur first district senior board member Khomeini "Khoms" Tanggol Taha aims to work on the return of the Marawi Siege evacuees to their homes in the Islamic city of Marawi.
Taha led his team when they visited the IDPs temporarily accomodated in shelters site called Bakwit Village here during the village anniversary commemoration recently.
In his short message during the program, Taha said he would like to take the opportunity to thank the IDPs for helping him become senior board member in the first district of Lanao del Sur.
Marawi, the capital city of Lanao del Sur, is within the province' first district.
He said he did not hesitate to join the group because he wanted them to return as soon as possible to their homes in Marawi.
"Kataya pen a kaoonotan ako a giyangkaya mga pagari aken, kaka ko a mga city councilors sa giyangka-i a Islamic city of Marawi. Ayami saya minitalingoma na para mailayami sekano a mga lolot ami, mga bangsami sa giyangkai a Islamic city of Marawi ka katawan aken a so rata a ginawa niyo na rata mambo anan a ginawa mi aya mala na saken a wata iyo. Phamangni ako rekano sa maap o imanto nyo ako pen saya mailay tonganayden a ikhakarata a ginawami skano a mga bakwit sa Islamic city of Marawi. Na imanto na miyakapeniyat ako o andamanaya mambo i kaogopi aken rekano a langowna bangsa ko sa Marawi amakambalingan kano sa Islamic city of Marawi," Board Member Taha said in vernacular.
