Marawi offers BOL voters free ride
MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur: City mayor Majul U. Gandamra offers free rides to voters who are coming from the cities of Cagayan de Oro and Iligan to vote in Marawi for the plebiscite on the Bangsamoro Organic Law (BOL) on Monday, January 21.
City information officer Katty Gandamra told The Manila Times that the city mayor wished a peaceful and efficient plebiscite and he encouraged Marawi constituents to practice their rights to vote.
She said the pick-up points for the free rides will be at Pangcoga Place, Cogon, Cagayan de Oro City and at Old Gaisano Mall fronting Lugo Building, Poblacion, Iligan City, at 6:30 in the morning on Monday.
Jeepneys are also stationed in Buganga Transitory Shelters, Saduc and Sarimanok villages (barangays), to transport voters to Sagonsongan village where the election will be held, added CIO Gandamra.
