Doc Willie visits IDPs in Marawi

ILIGAN CITY: Doc Willie T. Ong, popularly known in Salamat Dok at ABS-CBN program and his wife Doc Liza Ramoso-Ong visited internally displaced persons (IDPs) in Marawi after attending a wedding in Iligan City recently.
Ong was invited as one of the Principal Sponsor of the wedding of an Arkat Lawanen family held at Frosty Bite Garden Hall here.
Doc Willie and his wife were warmly welcomed by the parents, relatives, and friends of the groom and bride led by Aslehya M. Limbona head of the Arkat Lawanen Mararwi Icon Doll.
Doc Willie had also met former Lanao del Sur governor Alem Basher Manalao Mostagbal, former Secretary Engr. Titingalangit Sumagayan, Dr. Sahanee M. Sumagayan Assistant Schools Division Superintendent of Lanao Sur 1 Division (newly crown as Bailabi sa Malaa-Bayabao, Sultan Macatingki Macadaag, Dr. Chona Q. Sarmiento, Vice President for Research Extension & Linkages of Western Mindanao State University in Zamboanga City, Atty. Brenda Q. Salang, her husband Dr. Salang, Dean of the College of Forestry Same University & Atty Jose Cordero Jr. Provincial Director of DENR & Mayor Benjamin Bagul of Wato Balindong municipality, among others.
As private-public servant Doc Willie and his wife and company proceeded to Marawi where he visited the Bahay Pagasa Elementary school Vito evacuation center accompanied by Arkat Lawanen.
They were received by the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Army Hijab Troopers. Before meeting the IDPs heads and their children, they conducted a psychosocial gift giving & feeding for the children. More than 400 Maranao children were benefited with it. (ATM/RSP)
