Mayor Nashiba attends Washington Sycip education summit

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur: Taking three of her dedicated LSB Team, Mayor Nashiba Gandamra-Sumagayan attended the 12th Washington Sycip National Education Summit at the Philippine Institutional Convention Center, Pasay City, last September 5, 2018. This two-day summit congregated the Synergeia Foundation and its LGU partners.

During this event, Mayor Sumagayan was invited at that very moment to sit as one of the panelists. Together with the other LCEs of the LGUs which are also partners of the foundation, they spoke of subjects that underscored the vital role of education and LGUs in improving the lives of people in our rapidly-evolving world. 

Further, importance of the collaborative efforts of the members of the foundation was emphasized in the discussion as it is what gets Synergeia going for more constructive programs.

In relation with the notion of progress, the evident development in the education system of TARAKA was validated after making it as one of the 10 municipalities with the lowest number of Non-readers and Frustrated readers. -.Municipality of Taraka/RSP
