Pangarungan new NCMF secretary

MARAWI CITY, Lanao del Sur: Former Lanao del Sur Governor Saidamen B. Pangarungan is now the newly appointed secretary of the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos (NCMF).

He succeeded Yasmin Busran Lao whose term of office ended several months back.

A copy of Pangarungan's appointment dated July 9, 2018, shared at many facebook accounts showed that Pangarungan has been appointed as head of the NCMF for a period of two years. 

Pangarungan, a well-respected Maranao lawyer, is the present Sultan of Madaya, one of the Lima Pumagsopa sa Marawi. 

He is also a PDP-Laban stalwart. - Rocaya Sumndad Otical/RSP
