120 Maranao farmers receive farming assistance from Belgium through DAR-ARMM

Marawi City: One hundred twenty farmers from Sugodian Farmers and Fisherfolk Cooperative and Siap ko Kaphagingud Marketing Cooperative received farming assistance from the Government of Belgium and the United Nations-Food and Agriculture Organization through the provincial office of the Department of Agrarian Reform of the Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (DAR-ARMM).

Datu Mesug Unda, DAR-ARMM provincial director for Lanao del Sur, together with officials from the Government of Belgium and the United Nations-Food and Agriculture Organization led the distribution of the assistance last March 20, 2018 which included 50 sacks of rice seeds with fertilizers, 50 sets of vegetable seeds with garden tools, and 20 units of chicken broilers with production packages items.
