4 drug dealers arrested, 1 killed in Army-Police-PDEA Lanao del Sur Law Enforcement Operations

KUTA SANG-AN, Labangan, Zamboanga del Sur, March 23: Army leads Joint Law Enforcement Operations with police and PDEA resulting to the arrest of four (4) drug dealers and killing of one (1) in Ganassi, Lanao del Sur Province, 9:00 this morning. 

Elements of 55th Infantry Battalion, an Army unit under the Joint Task Force RANAO, led a Joint Law Enforcement Operations with the Philippine National Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Region 10 in Brgy Pindolonan, Ganassi municipality, Lanao del SurProvince today. The Joint Law Enforcement Operation resulted to the arrest of drug dealers Ramon Diangka, Alinair Aminola, Emil Merda, and Jalalodin Diangka. One suspect, Max Diangka, resisted when arrested and fired at the raiding team, forcing them to return fire which resulted to the death of the suspect.

Recovered from the scene of the operation were 37 pieces of heat sealed transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu, 3 Cal.45 pistols with live ammo, 1 M16 rifle, 3 Cal.38 pistols, assorted drug paraphernalias, identification cards and cellular phones.

“Joint Law Enforcement Operations are manifestations of the government’s mandate to protect the people. This operation was successful because of the help of the people and the community” Lieutenant Colonel Manuel Valdez IV, Commander, 55th Infantry Battalion, said.

Major General Roseller G Murillo, Commander of Joint Task Force RANAO, congratulated the operators of Joint Task Force RANAO for the successful law enforcement operations conducted jointly with the PNP and PDEA.
