Ranao Star lady is ARMM's information bureau coordinator for Lanao del Sur

ILIGAN CITY, Philippines, February 3, 2018 -- Bai Rocaya Sumndad Otical Yahya, publisher and general manager of Ranao Star Philippines has been designated as Provincial Coordinator for Lanao del Sur of the Bureau of Public Information - Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BPI-ARMM) by BPI executive director Amir Mawallil.

She replaced Dean Masiding Noor Yahya who held the position a couple of years before resigning early January 2017.

Otical said she had yet to see her designation papers from the BPI regional office. But, she added, Mawallil in a phone coversation recently had advised her to start her new job as she is already in. 

The bureau is the information arm of the office of the regional governor of the autonomous government.

Otical-Yahya, a solid Marawian from Lumbaca Toros, Marawi City, expressed his sincere thanks to Director Mawallil for taking her as part of the BPI family. She also expressed her gratitude to Governor Mujiv Hataman and to DepEd secretary Rasol Mitmug Jr. for this opportunity.

She is married to Dean Yahya and blessed with four children. (RSP)
