Libreng Sakay for Marawi residents

One of the problems identified during the Kambalingan of the returned families of Marawi is the limited public utility vehicles operating in the cleared areas thus causing some motorcycle operators to take advantage of the situation. 

As a proactive measure, the LGU-Marawi activated the Marawi Transportation Management Group (MTMG) for the regulation of the transport operators for safety and security. Further, this will also address issue on the need to regulate the fare.

Last January 3, 2018, Mayor Gandamra launched Marawi City LGU "LIBRENG SAKAY" program to address access to safe and free transportation for the commuters.

The identified routes are the following:

Route 1: Polo Areas (from Poona Marantao) to City Hall-Zero Kilometer- Sarimanok Rotonda to PMTC and NFA then back to Polo)

Route 2: PREP Areas (from Saadiya School) to Sarimanok Rotonda, PMTC, NFA, Zero Kilometer and then back straight to PREP areas.

Route 3: Zero Kilometer to APMC Public Hospital , Panggao Saduc, to Mapandi & Tampilong then to Matampay straight to Kampo Ranao/Public, then back to Zero (MCLGU)
