Ranao Star chief presents a News Writing workshop in MSU-IIT

The head of Ranao Star Philippines graced as resource speaker the one-day workshop on campus journalism organized by the College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) of the Mindanao State University-Iligan Institute of Technology (MSU-IIT) on Friday at the college’ CASSalida Theater.

Dean Masiding Noor Yahya, founding publisher and editor-in-chief of Ranao Star Philippines, was invited by the college to talk on Newswriting.

Dean Yahya is a noted lecturer and organizer on basic journalism among students and teachers in Marawi and Lanao del Sur.

Dean Yahya is also the president of Sarimanok Press Club and chairman of the Lanao Association of Multimedia Practitioners (LAMP).
