Sultan Nasser Disomangcop Sampaco, Sultan Maamor of Dansalan, is now the chairman of Marawi Sultanate League after having been unanimously elected by the various sultans and datus who are members of the league.
He replaced outgoing chair Sultan Monching Macabando of the Sultanate of Marinaut.
A certified public accountant and holder of a master in management degree, the new chairman of the sultanate league is president of Jamiatu Marawi Al-Islamia Foundation (JMIF), a leading private higher institution of learning in the Islamic City of Marawi and the province of Lanao del Sur.
Marawi Sultanate League is the organization of all royal sultans and datus within the Lima Pumagsopa sa Marawi including the realms of Buadi Ibango.
It was founded during the time of the late Marawi City Mayor Bato Ali Sr. who served then among its founding leaders.
